Manatees Debut With a Deuce in the Left Column

The inaugural Manatee Kickball season kicked off with bang Monday night. Gabe came out throwing cheese, limiting the “bouncers” (what?…oh wait I get it, because kickballs bounce…gay) to just 3 runs in the first game and 0 in the second. Although when he needed to throw a slow strike, it often ended up like looking more like this recent catastrophy.

Meanwhile, Andy often galloped around the bases in true Manatee fashion, had you been there it would have looked something like this:

(more after the jump)

The recent success has not gone to the Manatee’s head as most of it can be credited to the female Manatees. (I think like two of them got on base right? and didn’t Lauren catch a pop up?) Irregardless, the future looks bright for this young squad. Next week they have an early start time against a veteran laden team of “Urban Cookies” (Which is obviously either a reference to this or this).

    Andy is hung like a manatee…and that’s not a good thing…

He also has the mobility of a manatee…comparable to Vinny Testeverde.
